1 John 5

At least today everyone is back to school...I heard some people are getting friday off too!
Some Lucky People here...

So this chapter is all about our faith and how it makes us strong. It explains the importance in putting the Lord before us in our lives. I think it is clairified in verse 12: "Whoever has the son has life, and whoever does not have the son does not have life." We need christ in our lives. In the begining of this chapter it talks about how each christian has power through christ against evil. This makes me feel safe and sure that we are in the hands of the Lord. I learned this in verse 4: "For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through christ."

Yeah! On to 2 John!

Alrighty here we go!

So in this chapter it talks all about how it is important to have faith in Jesus, and it also says that if we believe in God then we have the power to overcome the world. Verse 5 says "Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the son of God".

Also, this chapter talks a lot about sins. It kinda confuses me... Why does it say that sin will lead to death but then in the next sentence it says it won't lead to death?

THis chapter was really striaght forward!!
At the very beginning it explains how if you believe in Christ, you are truly born a child of God. For those who loves the father loves their child as well. Since God is our father, and we love him, we will love his children. We alwatys say that we love God but we never really show it, a good way to show it is to follow his commands.
Whoever believes in Christ as your savior, you are given eternal life. You need faith and confidence to approash God, and we show that by staying true to his commands and having faith in Christ.
This chapter basically explains how God has unconditional love for us and it states ways how we can show our love towards him. Many ways are given but the most important is to have Faith that Christ is our Savior and we are truly born a child of Christ.
Whoever is born from Christ, will not sin forever. I think that means through your life, you commit sin but when you repent and ask for forgiveness, in heaven yiou wont sin anymore since it is the house of God. God is our only Father and we should stay true to that and deny any other false idols that stand in our way.

OKAY ANYWHO, ON TO GAWD....

Hmm, didn't get too much from this chapter, actually.
But what I did get was that if you believe in God, believing in Jesus comes hand-in-hand. Also, if you are not committing a fatal sin (which I'm going to go ahead and say, means the kind of sin where you KNOW you're doing something wrong and you KNOW how bad it is, and continuing to do it), God will help you overcome these sins and obstacles.

Yeaup. Off to study again. Farewell, cruel world!

"This is love for God: to obey his commands." To be honest, my parents tell me the same thing. If I follow their commands and I obey, it truly warms their heart.

Our duties as Christians and our place in God's Kingdon.
And we should strive to obey his commands.

God gave set commands on what.we should.do.
And as children, he forgives constantly.
Although we may make mistakes.time and time again,
each time, we should strive to achieve more than before.

ALl i got wAS THAT the Spirt is the truth which testifys 3 things., the spirt, water and blood which is the testimony of God.
