WOOT! i skipped school today to go to wonderland. YAY
6 But Jesus said, "Let her alone. Why are you giving her a hard time? She has just done something wonderfully significant for me.7 You will have the poor with you every day for the rest of your lives. Whenever you feel like it, you can do something for them. Not so with me.8 She did what she could when she could-she pre-anointed my body for burial.9 And you can be sure that wherever in the whole world the Message is preached, what she just did is going to be talked about admiringly."
So nothing much stood out really even from this loooong chapter... but I did think these verses are important because it shows that the amount we give God can never be enough to pay him back. This woman anointed his body with perfume worth a years wages. I think it's important that we give it everything we've got when it comes to offering up to God because even if God asks for 10 percent in material wealth, 10 percent will never be enough to repay him. Just know that God deserves all we have physically, but most importantly in heart and soul, so remember that the price God paid to have us, can only be acknowledged by offering up our hearts.

Ugh.
It seems like I need to spend more time studying for economics than doing devos... will get back to devos tomorrow afternoon! D:
And it looks like the retreat's a no-go, despite talking it over with my parents. It's a shame, but I'm going to have to respect my parents' decisions.
