1 Samuel 9 (Sept 23)

i hate braces...

by his hand we are all fed
give us lord, our daily bread
please know that we are greatly thankful
for every cup and every plateful

i didnt get much from this chapter today

so just like isaac, i hate braces too
i got mine tightened , and so now it hurts to chew my food because of my teeth and it hurts to swallow cause of my friggen sickness...

so i was told that i got taller today YESSSSSS im still growing!!!!!!!!!!! lol

ahh so i got nothing fromt this chapter... it's too much story telling and i don't usually get alot from these.

but Grace, I don't wanna study! All I wanna do is sleep and watch movies and play
Man it's the 1st month of school and i'm already burned out..
So yeah, I like everyone else didn't get anything from this chapter. But I sure did read it!

God uses everyone. And by everyone, i think he likes to make a point by using the worst of the worst. This fridays devos will be focused on faith in God, and doing his will. Samuel is a good example of this so be excited

Hey guys, I have aLOT of work to do and i came back from work... i'm kinda angry too but i hope i can release my anger by the time i'm finished doing my devos... HAHA hope u guys are having a great time...

ummm, This chapter was an example of a quote that sam replied many times in hes sermons... God uses the weak to lead the strong... If you read on, Bible explains that saul was from the smallest tribe in israel so he did not have many luxurious belongings as other people of israel do and the bible doesnt say anything about saul's religious back ground either so he must be in the weak category... The israelites wanted a king and God is giving them wat they want... God planned everything out for this... Saul's father loses donkeys and he was sent to go find the donkeys and he meets samuel on the way to find the donkeys, then he is placed as a king... If you know the story of Saul, he makes many mistakes during the time he had lots of power... God was using him to teach us a lesson the hard way... Listen to god and don't make him teach you a lesson the hard way... HAHA

wow English drained the crap out me and it's only the first assignment of the year...Oh boy

Samuel is really an interesting book in its own rights.
We see the transition of a judge to a king.

Didn't really get much, but I have a feeling tomorrow's chapter is going to be interesting.
