Psalm 101 July 19

Hi
7 "No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence."
So i think the chapter for today was mainly about influences and how they will impact us. If we are surrounded by a group of Faithful and Holy people, then most likely you will learn to be like them. However, if you are with a group of wicked and faithless people then you will probably be influenced by them. And I think David was trying to say in this chapter that he will be with those who are Faithful and leave those who are faithless. I think we could all apply this to our lives. At school, I only had like 1 Christian friend, that can share their relationship with Christ with me and all of my other friends were Muslim or Atheist. Luckily, I have Church and I have you guys and everyone else in our ministry to keep my faith going!

I didn't understand this chapter very well. It was a bit confusing to me....
What I think it was talking about was how we should purify our hearts and we can't do that without God...... Or something like that.

I've been sleeping so late these days, I can now actually sleep now that my exam stuff are done.

This verse really speaks to me.
I'll expand more upon it tomorrow.

Hi guys! This chapter is pretty straight forward as well, we should also do these things because this is what god wants all of us to do! And they are simple yet terribly hard tasks to do and carry on for the rest of our lives night!

As promised

2: I will be careful to lead a blameless life.

There's 2 different ways to look at this verse, honestly, but one and only one sticks to me.
As one walks with Christ, they allow God to take control of their life, essentially, right?
This verse says to me that one shouldn't blame the hardships in life on God but be glad to be in his day.
Sounds do-able, but its one of the main things that I struggle with.
How can we be thankful, it's so hard while you're down on faith and turn away from God.
While it is so hard to be thankful when we receive everything we get, food/shelter, education, etc.
May we acknowledge more of God's grace.

2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?

Even those who lead such great lives, feel the absence of the lord
It'll be impossible to lead a blameless life but it's the heart that matters
and we might feel like that times too. That even though we do great things for God, When is it that we feel his presence?
He'll come eventrually but there will Always be the right time
