2 "Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception"
Isnt Flattering someone a good thing? Sorry its really random, but Im just wondering.....
But anywaay, it is true what the verse says. God wrote about lying on the 2 stone tablets and one of the ten commandments (Commandment #9, i think) is about how we shouldnt tell false witness to our neighbors, and yet we dont follow it.
I know we dont lie about big stuff everyday, but we at least tell white lies, that dont do much harm.
And Im just wondering, if we tell small lies about small things, is that still breaking the commandment?

basiiccally : show God your faith; by putting in your effort.
soo youu basically state your stuff strong before anythinng else.
you dont just "follow" because somebody stood up for your faith in God.
you lead your faith in God, and stuff... its hard to say
but you know,, lets put in our two cents if anything.

So I didn't have much to say but I did want to point out that when he says "silence all flattering lips", I doesn't mean to just keep your dislike for someone/something to yourself, and it doesn't mean to go and tell everyone that you dislike them.
It means that you should work towards always being truthful, but also fair. Give people a chance, yeno? (:

verse 2 really stood out to me "Everyone lies to his neighbor their flattering lips speak with deception."
when i read this it reminded me of everyone around that i know, because everyone lies and everyone deceives others in some way. It is a common thing all humans do, lying but that doesnt mean we should keep doing it, we should try and prevent it from happening so we can please the lord.
