Psalm 27 March 20

Didn't go to school today...tooo sick....

Psalm 27 reminds me of the sermon on Sunday. This chapter made me think about when we talk to God the most. This is usually when we need something from him. Many of these verses talked about how we should ask less but praise more. Some people only look to God when only in an emergency. God doesn't want complaints all the time.....Praise the Lord! God only puts us into hard situations not to hurt us, but to help us grow stronger in Fath. He is testing us.

Sorry I havent been posting in awhile! I wasnt busy, i was just simply lazy -.- And i apologize for it, and I will try to be more active.
14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."
The verse pretty much says it all. Don't be afraid, wait for God, and keep your head up! God will answer you evantually, so be patient. Also in the verse it says "Wait for the LORD" twice. I think that they are trying to emphasize how important it is to wait for God.

This talks about his confidence in the lord that he will be protected and he will never be abandoned by god!
To be honest I don't have that great of faith as he does. When I'm in scary situations I remain scared even though I know in my mind that god will protect me!
I wanna work towards having that kinda faith

ok so 4 and 5 are particularly standing outish to me.
i remember Pastor DanJoo was talking about how we pray for so many things in our life.
and thats not really bad.
but what these verses are getting to me are:
"whatever you pray for, your priority when you pray would be to pray to be WITH God.
for he is the Almighty and Merciful Father, and we should praise him and acknowledge his Majesty
whenever we pray."
soo yeah. we're a praise team, and praising should be a part of our prayers; day, afternoon, dinner, and night.
welll yeah. we're not praying to have a good life on Earth, but do good on Earth so we can be with Him up THERE in His Kingdom.

Patience, one of my worst virtues hahaha
Some of you may know but I'm not a very patient person at all
The same applies when it comes to my relationship with God.
Often times, I get very impatient with God and am easy quickly to question or blame him.
This verse was a wake up call, God is always there, listening, so have patience in the lord!
