Psalm 16 march 1

First day of March!

Chapter 16 explains that we are safe from evil because we are protected by being the children of God. As it says in verse 8-10: "I have set the lord always before me, Because he is my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your holy one see decay." Even when we're not on earth, we are always protected by God.

I didnt get much from this chapter either!! D:
i read it like 3 times over and all i got was the really obvious stuff!
but what this chapter is saying has a good message that we shoulld constantly remind ourselves about to not loose sight of what God does for us on a daily bases! he can take everything in a flash, so cherish it while it lasts

okkk... sooo this chapter automatically made me think of Devotion. likee the song.
1 Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. ---> "In your freedom I will live~"

I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me. ----> "I offer devotion,(x2)"
and the last paragraph
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
nor will you let your faithful[b] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
^Feels more or less like "I wanna be where you are, You're all I need"



sooo yeahh... I dont know how to explain what I got out of this but yeahh.. you know..
justt like, isnt it cool?

7: I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.

We truly need that motivation that just allows us to worship God, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. As we sleep, may we praise God with our hearts. Whatever we do, we should thank and praise the Lord for whatever occasion. There will be times of joy and there will be times when we are drenched in sorrow. However, let us have that mentality and the will to worship Him, consistently and constantly.

hey guys

This chapter was very straight forward but it was really interesting because it shows what God really is in our lives.
Overall, he is our portion and the hand the lifts us up when we're down. Whenever we struggle, God is there to pick us up again but we arent even close to repaying Him for all he has done for us. The most we can do, iis to live every second of our lives for Gods grace and to fulfil our duties to lead others into the arms of God. He will always stand by our side no matter what and we should thank God every chance that we get. Although it may seem like He is not present in your life, he is watching you and guiding you through your low and high roads.
BE THANKFUL THAT WE HAVE GOD.

8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

This verse in partiular stuck out to me. If our God is for us, who could stop us? Let alone shake us
This chapter in general talks about how we can take refuge in the lord
How he is our hiding place and safety
There will be doubt but he'll always be there for us
