Psalm 24 March 14 Empty Psalm 24 March 14

7 Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

The last couple of passages talk about lifting up our heads, and gates.
To me, the first thing that popped into mind was letting God in.
Sometimes our hearts are so closed up on other things, that we don't allow God to get into our hearts.
We don't let him get close and intimate in our lives.
Have an open heart and mind, and watch for God.!

hey guys! sorry for being absent on the forum.
7 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
this verse stood out to me the most. it is saying that we shouldnt shut out God and let him into our lives and help us. Mold us into good people and believers of Christ. we shouldnt get too absorbed and wrapped around what is going on in our lives, but talk to God and get guidance from him. we turn to God in the times we need him most, but we should turn to him everyday not just for help but for us to become better peopl im God's eyes.
