2 John 1

That's weird...there's only one chapter for 2 John.
Anyways, 2 John is again about the antichrist. I've once actually saw a documentary about it and it gave me nightmares for quite a while.....it is quite scary but I get reminded in this chapter that the ones who are with God are the ones who are truly safe. Verse 9 was the verse that reminded me that: "Anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son."
This chapter also reminds us that we must love one another first if we want to be loved by God. Verse 6 made is more clear for me because it says, "Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another."

Um, so that's about it then...I guess we're off then to 3 John.

So, I didn't get much out of this chapter... I think it's because it's really short.
But it basically talks about antichrists and how we shouldn't welcome them.
And thats about it...

hey guys! sorry for not posting yesterday...i will try to be more consistent. anyways, well i really didnt get much out of this chapter lik most...i will reread it again but basically its talking about antichrists and how we should love one another lik wat 1 John talks about too. i guess dats it...uh 3 John tomorrow!

well, this is NOT a good week T^T. -missed so much, sorry. not gonna put out excuses.

OK, so this chapter says to not affiliate ourselves with antichrists, so that we may stay faithful.
Throughout the bible, Christians consistently demonstrate a very hospitable attitude;
such as how Jesus asked Zakareth(i think that was the name, but he was a tax collector) to have dinner with him.
From this, the bible in a sense categorizes people we should and should not affiliate with.(at least for me)
So, the moral I got was to

Know our neighbors and love them. However, be wary.
I really should do this more in my life,
I find that I always have a loose end on situations
where me and my friends share about our beliefs,
and I end up respecting their opinion a bit too much.
If anybody else goes through the same thing, any tips?? ^^;;

Maybe it's because I have a debate, a lab report and a reading I have to do for tomorrow. Errrks.

2 John reminds us that what God commands us to do. "As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love." This means for us to walk with Jesus and have a deep compassionate relationship with him. "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him." Verse 10 really laid things down.

Today, I had a supply teacher in 2 of my 4 classes. Instead of doing work, I decided to meditate and found out that I don't need to meditate to listen and talk with Jesus. Don't get me wrong, it's great to deeply meditate with our saviour. When I have a problem or a big decision, I run it through my brain. Although I'm thinking to myself, a part of me asks Jesus without even knowing, which is the best feeling in the world.

Moved into a high class Condo. WOOT!! Big changes tho, Its alot smaller but good to live in. I mean the party room is HUGE with a 65 inch tv and has a high end gym. SICK!! Im tired and i didn't get much from this chapter except for something about not listening to Antichrists and stuff
