yo yo...ma ... ahaha.... weaksauce....
James 4:
"4 You adulterers![a] Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God."
Note that it repeats it. How many times do things get repeated in the Bible? not many... "your body might be with this world but your spirit is not"-[GT]Legend. Ive said that several times on this forum before it means a lot when i heard it.
"4 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow?"
Mikes msn name was once something like "today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday".
deep huh? dont stress out (or as jacob would say "DOOOONT WOOORRRRYYYY" ahaa)
do you feel the love tooooonight?

BEL AND THE DRAGON
BAHAHAHHA
So I was upstairs doing my devos.. And I was too lazy to go and get my bible from downstairs.. So I decided to use the Catholic bible that was lying around that i got from school in Grade 9 Religion.. And I was flipping through and there's this whole section called Deuterocanonicals that we don't have in our bibles.. And I must say, it is WACK.
I will commence to list off the funniest names from this section:
-Bel and the Dragon (my fave by far: apparentlyDavid destroyed a dragon. )
-Song of Three Young Men
-Tobit
Hahha these crazy catholics.
Anyhoo I decided to read a bit of John, seeing as how tomorrow is Easter and I thought I'd freshen up on Jesus' message.
John 14: "If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever. He is the Spriit, who reveals the truth about God. THe world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, becuase he remains with you and is in you."
In reading this I realized how lucky everyone single one of us are to have the Holy Spirit within us, to guide us and speak to us and really connect us to Jesus. I can't even imagine how lost I would be without it.. I liked how jesus refered to the Spirit as "the Helper"; which really emphasized how much the Holy Spirit is here to HELP us. So why not take advantage of it? (And I mean that in the best way possible.) God sent us the Spirit becuase he loved us, but so often we refuse to listen to the Spirit, we ignore it and we tune it out, even though we are the lucky ones that GET to have the help of the spirit. Some people like to refer to the Spirit as their conscience..Proabably because our conscience is the most "obvious" part of our lives... And I know for a fact that my conscience is working everyday.. "Cathy you shouldnt be saying that.." "Cathy stop giving that girl cut-eye" and etc. But just because the Spirit gets in the way of us doing things that we may want to be doing at that specific moment, doesnt mean that we can ignore it. Becuase the Spirit comes directly from God. So lets LISTEN TO IT!
See y'allz tmrw!

Re: April 11th
Man worst stomachache ever, that's the last time I eat cheese that's been lying around the refrigerator for God knows how long.
Proverbs 20 13
If you love sleep, you will end in poverty.
Keep your eyes open, and there will be plenty to eat
Wow, that hits close to home. It's not saying don't' ever appreciate the value of a good night sleep, but it is reminding else to use our time wisely. I know I waste my time here on Earth with things that are very petty. I could be doing so many things, but I decide to be lazy and waste my time. It's scary because you really can lose yourself to this. Just remember how you should be using your time for God's glory, I know I really lack this
k take it easy guys...and what's with that T-shirt
