God is Never Too Busy - June 25, 2013
Acts 17:27
God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
Psalm 145:18
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Matthew 7:11
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
A lot of kids today grow up with absentee fathers. Their father's are never home, always gone, never there for the important dates. Even when their father's are home, they really aren't there. They're detached, reading a newspaper, watching television, or working. They may be physically there but they're not mentally or emotionally at home.
That's why it's important to remember three encouraging facts about the closeness of God:
God is never too busy - "The Lord is near to all who call on him." (Psalm 145:18 NIV) He's never too busy to talk to you. He's always near. He never says, "Some other time."
God loves to meet your needs -- He's not annoyed by your request. "If you know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" (Matthew 7:11 NIV)
God is sympathetic to your hurts -- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and rescues those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18 NLT) When you hurt, God hurts. When you grieve, God grieves. He is there. And He cares. That is the Good News.

God's with us 24/7, constantly by our side, and He never leaves us. Even though we might not feel his presence, God is always there. God doesn't neglect us, and appreciates each moment with us. God deeply cares and feels our suffering, hurts, and pain.
I think that's what makes God so amazing and beautiful, that He loves us so much that it extends beyond bearing our shame and sin on the cross, God is willing to carry us throughout our life, our hardships, our troubles, our joys, our pain, and our happiness. God carries our burdens with us, He understands us completely, loves us eternally and will never forsake us.
He never was, is and never will be an absent parent, God will ALWAYS listen, nurture, and sympathize.
God's love indelible, unconditional, beautiful, and everlasting.

He is our father, and we are his beloved children.
This is the basic message that everyone once in a while forgets. But no matter how far we feel from God, he is always there during the good and the bad times. When you call for him, he will always answer.
Sometimes, we do feel as if we are not getting a response from him. That lonely feeling that comes once in a while...
At these lonely times, seek God and you will remember that you are never truly alone.
God knows your heart and how you feel. When talking with God, remember to be honest and open to him about everything.
He is of course always here for you and that is why we should never feel alone.
