Psalm 94 Empty Psalm 94

Oh dear. I'm gonna try my best, even though I'm dying from drowsiness right now.
8 Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
you fools, when will you become wise?
20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—
a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?

Ok, so one thing this verse kinda reminds me of, is how every of God's lectures goes to everybody. To each and every individual person, it could hold a different interpretation. One of the ones that stood out to me is the main interpretation; how God lectures the sinners and the "non-ideal christians". But another one that stood out more, was how We could be the ones that could just ignore this message. That we could possibly end up just being hypocrites, and walk around as a Christian like it's not really anything.

That's a big problem. I remember on Sunday, Dan gave a sermon on how being Christian shouldn't just be a "facebook status" so that people can go "Oh he's Christian." or "Oh, she's Christian."

Our actions should reflect upon our religion, not the other way around, you know what I mean? Like; we should be nice people who seek God, not God's people who are nice.

Psalm 94 Empty Re: Psalm 94

18 "When I said "My foot is slipping," your love, O Lord, supported me."
A reminder of how God never fails to show his mercy and love to us. Even when we feel hopeless God was always with us, holding our hands and guiding us through everything.

16 "Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?"
This verse reminded me of Dan Kim's sermon couple weeks ago about how we should not be one of those followers that only join when it is suddenly the mainstream thing to do. And he showed us that video of the guy who was dancing like a maniac :p Instead we should be one of the first couple followers!

Thats all!
G'night!

9: Does he who implanted the ear not hear?
Does he formed the eye not see?

Thinking back to dem school days, I vividly remember the debates/discussions towards Christianity.
With my shield of faith, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, and helmet of salvation,
I had to take what was coming.
Although this verse was exactly what I was thinking of, I have to realize that God has plans for everyone.
There'll be a time where God tries to work into one's heart.
We can help Him, but we can't enforce it.
When someone's ready for Christ, they're ready.
There should be no hesitation, no consideration of turning back.
Just give it all to him Smile

How long, Lord, will the wicked,
how long will the wicked be jubilant? (Psalm 94:3 NIV)

Oftentimes, we find ourselves asking this. When are the "wicked" going to get what they deserve? Most of the time, we feel as though they don't really pay for what they did. In fact, they might even get rewarded.
But God does have a plan and we can't possibly understand it all.
We really have to keep in mind that God knows best.

Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see? (Psalm 94:9 NIV)

To be honest, I just thought this verse was cool. LOL
So I'm sharing it with you guys.

Swaggie.

9 Does he who implanted the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?

Amazing passage. God created our eyesight, so obviously he sees what we see.
He created our ears, so he hears whatever we hear.
The point is, God knows everything, because he created everything
He knows everything we see, hear, touch, smell, he just about knows everything
Such a great reminder that sometimes when we wonder if God truly pays attention to us, God really does.
He knows everything about us

Verse 8&9:
"is he deaf-the one who made your ears? Is he blind-the one who formed your eyes?"
in this chapter, I talks about how easily people complain eventhough God has provided and blessed us with many things. Instead of being thankful and praising him, we ask for more.
This reminds me of that story of how Moses led the israelites through the desert and they complained about the ammount of food. So God provided them with manna and water. Yet they got tired of it very quickly. They then started to complain some more......we blame god for not giving us what we want. Like that verse, god hears and sees more things than we do so why do we sometimes think that God doesn't see what were going through and think he didn't hear us? He knows much more than what we think.
