okk. really strong passage. especially the middle part. (can't really call it a paragraph)
3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.
5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;
the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion[b] like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the LORD strikes
with flashes of lightning.
8 The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;
the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD twists the oaks[c]
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

soo yeah. well what i got was that yeah, the Lord is the almighty God.
and he's always with us, alongside with Jesus.
But, even so, we can't really say that we've heard the voice of the Lord yet.
well, yeah. so i guess the big point is,
we spend all this time trying to get our say to God,
but really, half that time should be dedicated to total silence and trying to LISTEN to God.

10-11: The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.
todays passage was very strong. it gave a strong message about how powerful and might our God is. no matter what, God always remains as our king and saviour. the almight God that we worship and blesses us. i thought that the last two verses of Psalm 29 kind of summed up the whole passage; how God is gives us glory and strength everyday and gives us our daily blessings. He is the reason why we are all living today and even though our Christian walk with God may be hard, just remember that he is always with us and will help us because he is our saviour.

As I was reading this chapter, I realized that we often forget how awe-some God is.
I mean, the things that this chapter reminds us that he is capable of doing.
It's truly amazing.
I don't know about you guys but it's pretty hard for me to even imagine someone having that power, let alone remember it constantly.
So, once in a while, just stop what you're doing and REALLY think about how thankful you should be for our God.

Well this chapter is pretty straight forward. God is the all might king who can do whatever he wants. He is so very powerful and we should praise him because he will give his strength to those and will bless his people wtih peace. pretty much all i got. short chapter btw

Forced in today's hollywood view, I can deeply imagine God shaking the desert and his voice carrying out with flashes of lightning.
Sometimes we forget on how strong God's wrath is, this chapter helps us realize what kind of God our God is.
Merciful, all powerful, and most importantly, a loving One.

I found ironic in how this chapter talks about the immense power the voice of the lord has. But as human beings, we tend to associate power with loudness. If your voice is grand, loud and deep, your voice is considered to be powerful. However most people don't even hear the lords voice. Many people think this is because we are not listening hard enought, and I agree. We are too preoccupied with our own stuff that's going on, that we tend to not have the patience and the "time" to listen to the lord full heartedly. I believe that if we all listen to him, and practice this, we'd actually be able to hear his voice. Maybe or maybe not literally, but for sure in our hearts and minds. I don't know how t is like to hear the lords voice, but I'm sure it helps loads for deciding on what you think the lord wants you to do.i want to keep working ont this so I won't lose sight of the lord, and or relatin shop will be string enough to endure the hardships that come with life. Like hell be my conscience ahaha hopefully!
