Psalm 8 Empty Psalm 8

Post  jaake kwon Thu Feb 16, 2012 10:13 pm

uhm ok.
so this one mentioned how we have like a set hierarchy;
<Three In One> > Angels > Humans > Animal Kingdom.
kinda made me think; so where does the devil fall in all of this?
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
and yeh. it's like Satan's a one man army against all of the world.
but then again, when we start to grow weak in our praise, i guess that's a sign of us weakening our relationship.
I think this psalm was directed to those of us in the ministry to praise with all of ourselves.
and keep moving forward even if that means our friends are in the way.
soo yeah. lets stay strong guys!

Psalm 8 Empty Re: Psalm 8

2: From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
the verse really stood out to me since we are praise team members and it sort of shows the meaning of praise. when we praise God, we should really try to feel the meaning of the lyrics and understand how blessed we are. being a part of the praise team is a gift and it helps the whole ministry worship God for his deeds and push away all bad things away.

Sorry guys, I haven't posted lately. I'm actually going crazy...

And not gonna lie. I haven't really learned anything from this chapter. But it's always nice to hear verses like this
5 You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:

Shows you how great-full you should be

Hi guys Very Happy
Didnt get any big message in this chapter but i did get the understanding of how thankful we should be. God made everything in the world, but his most important creation is us. He gave us the power to rule everything else he's made.
Sometimes though we take advantage over these blessings and we tend to misuse them. We dont realize how much we have and how little we thank the Lord.
Good night everyone!!

Psalm 8 Empty Re: Psalm 8

God has taken care of us ever since we were infants and He protected us from our enemies. All this time, God has been there for us and now its our turn to give back what we owe.
God should be known all around the world, but isnt. Our job is to spread Gods word because it is the elast we can do for Him. He created us a bit lower than angels, but crowned us with great glory and honor. God made everything so that the world can process. How awesome is our Lord, and we should be thankful for all he has done for us.

Sorry this chapter was kind of straight forward. nothing that really spoke out to me.
