It's 10:30 and not a single person has posted...What is this.

11 Serve the LORD with reverent fear,

It's clear that the teachings of modern churches hide the fact that our God is a god to be feared.
He really is someone that should not be taken lightly but I feel that judging by the thigns we do,
we do take him lightly.
Always remember to acknowledge and fear God, he deserves that respect and acknowledgement...and then some.

Sorry for the late post.. today, my brain has been dead, thankfully its only the 3rd day of the new sem.

12: Kiss the son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment.

Although I thought that this contradicted the fact that we should be quick to listen and slow to speak, I believe that Jesus takes into consideration that we are his father's sons and daughters and he will not let anything interfere with our relationship with him. "As father, like son," Jesus would definitely be jealous to see us turning our faith away from our Lord. We shouldn't underestimate his power and might.

What i got from this chapter was that Our God is a terrifying God and we shouldnt take him in vain. We should take him seriously because if you think about it he was the One who created Earth and life and everything. He can take all this away in a instant and most people on Earth dont even beleive in Him Pretty much all i got
