Hebrews 1 Sept 12

Oh boy... I seriously am not readjusting from my summer mode to my school mode very well....
I'm so tired all the time.

Anywaaaaay! I didn't get much of anything significant because the whole thing was basically about angels and how Jesus, the son of God, is more important or significant then they are.

But I think we already knew that. Hahaha

We'll see how the next one goes! (:

14 Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
this verse really stuck out to me and made me feel special.
because everyday, if you specifically look for it, there are many little miracles happening to you all of the time! you just have to look!
anywho, these tiny miracles are from God yes, but they go on because of te angels god sent to care for us. God chose each angel for each of us specifically!
hehe that made me fel as if God truly cares for us! and this is a sure sign.
yeah thats all!

Hey guys... I didn't get much from today's passage but I'm excited for the coming ones because I know there'll be a lot to learn in Hebrews (coffee).

Lol finally got browser working. Was getting kinda mad there ahaha.

3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

These verses show how Jesus was basically an exact representation of God but in human form. Jesus could do anyrhing his father can do . Gods intention was to purify our hearts and free us of all sin and that's what Jesus did. Gods son did the job for him and after finishing, he rose back to heaven and sat beside God again.
We should be happy and thankful that we have Jesus in our lives because he's the only reason why were still alive. He forgived us of all our sins and sacrificed his body to save us. We should always be thankful that God gave us another chance by giving up is loved son for our liveds. Never doubt a second of your life and live it out the fullest because that's what God intended us to do. Spread his word! This is the reason why we were saved! We were saved once, we can be saved again!

11 They will perish, but you remain forever.
      They will wear out like old clothing.
 12 You will fold them up like a cloak
      and discard them like old clothing.
   But you are always the same;
      you will live forever.”

What I found the passage to be talking about here was the things of this world. The things of this world are bound to perish but we live on. We'll fold them and discard them. A couple things that I got from this passage was that we discard all these things because we have new life. We don't rely on these things when we know that we have Jesus in our lives. "They will wear out" this was a constant reminder that the earthly things will never be forever. It reminds us not to love the things of this world. It changes, it wears out yet the bible states that we will stay the same and we will live forever like God which is a great gift that he had bestwoed upon us.
