Ruth 4 (August 20th)

So two things I noticed in this chapter were that Boaz was really unselfish, and the family redeemer was a bit selfish. The Family Redeemer said that he wouldn't accept Ruth because on verse 6 he said having kiids and marrying Ruth would damage his own estate. So he thought about himself and not Ruth. Kinda selfish not to help out a family memeber when they are in big need of help right? Boaz on the other hand, ended up marrying Ruth. To her, that was 2 more people to take care of. But Boaz didn't think of how he coould inconvenience himself, he thought of how he could make it more convenient for ruth and naomi. In my life i could try to be alot more like Boaz than the other family redeemer. I could think how i could help others, not myself.

uhm to be completly honest... i didnt get anything from this chapter, i dont really understand the message

Helllo! today was really hot. TOO HOT. but it did rain so sick tingz and then i saw a rainbow. ye ye.
anyway i really did not get anythign from this chapter either...sorry, but i am so sotked for tomorrow!

Ruth 4.

From today's devos, I further saw Boaz's big heart. He wanted to give the elders a chance to acquire Elimelech's land, and, when they refused, he took the initiative to buy it himself and provide for the two women he respected. Even though no one else wanted the land since it might "endanger their own estate", Boaz didn't worry about these things, and trusted that only good things would result from acquiring Elimelech's land.

I also saw God's grace and blessing on Boaz, Ruth, and Naomi from this chapter. I believe that, since Boaz was generous to Ruth and Naomi, God blessed him with a child, who brought happiness into Naomi and Ruth.

I rele didnt get much from this either but the only thing...

What i'm getting from this chapter is what god gave Ruth for showing loyalty, responsibility and love of her family. God had blessed Ruth by letting her marry a young rich man and giving her a son that will bring forth many good things... So, again, we should try our best to imitate ruth... I think that
all 4 chapters are basically teaching the same lesson...

okay so i did my devos today, and i just decided to write it here !!

haha okay so devos was a little diff today
i was going through the book of Habakkuk, and i found notes my dad wrote in my bible LOL
it was so random.... and so i decided to do my devos on the verses he circled today

so in Habakkuk 2: 14
it says "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge and glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." AMEN
wow just that phrase really had me in wonder and amazment.
God is good, He is great, and He can do anything !!!and the earth IS filled with the knowledge and glory of the Lord. Lets keep planting seeds in others, and have God use us in so many ways so that one day the knowledge and glory of God will cover this earth like the waters covering the seasssss . deep deep oh~~~~ deep down down ! hahaha
