Re: Isaiah 37 (Jun 4)
" 36 That night the angel of the Lord went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. When the surviving Assyrians[g] woke up the next morning, they found corpses everywhere"
this reminds me again of the sermon by Pastor Dennis. Im still thinking about that sermon... anyone else? aha...
That concept of God killing others to protect his "chosen" people is hard to grasp...
Other than that, i didnt get much

Re: Isaiah 37 (Jun 4)
I feel like they were really into burlap sacks...Hahaha. I guess that was the pinnacle of humility.
I didn't get much either from this chapter. I was floatin' on the same boat as E-sak. That verse that you quoted gave me the chills when I read it. It reminded me of Pastor Dennis' sermon, as well, but it also gave me the feeling that I sometimes get that reminds me that the Bible is an actual historical document, and not to be cast off just because of some of its seemingly fantastical stories. Haha. I thought that was pretty cool.
SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW!
FEEL BETTER CASHEW AND ARREN!

Yesss longest chapter ever.
Just like you guys, I didn't see anything new from this chapter. I think I've just seen more evidence for God caring and doing everything for His people.
