proverbs 2!!!

I liked what Sean talked about. When it comes to how we deal with God, we need to be absolute. There is no tip-toeing around. Let our yes be yes and no be no. In the same way, let's be definitive in all other areas of our lives. Why? Because other areas of our lives reflect who God is to us. So let us continue to see wisdom. Not just when we post devos, but when we're out in the world.

I read Proverbs 2 today and these verses stuck out:


"For the Lord grants wisdom!
      From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
  He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.
      He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
  He guards the paths of the just
      and protects those who are faithful to him
  Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
      and you will find the right way to go.
  For wisdom will enter your heart,
      and knowledge will fill you with joy.
  Wise choices will watch over you.
      Understanding will keep you safe.

When I hear about Solomon over and over again, I find myself envying him and wanting to be just like him. Wouldn't you want to be just like God and have people compare your wisdom to God's that's pretty serious!

Let's not be smart, but wise. You can only be smart about certain things; but you can be wise about everything.
