I didn't get much from todays chapter either. Just that God is almighty and powerful...this chapter just gave examples of the idea.

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
This chapter really helped me see how PERFECT God made the earth.
Having the sun rise every morning and having it set every evening.
How it rains when plants thirst for water, how birds have homes in trees.
Especially our bodies itself, how we are made flawless, in the image of God.
He created us with warm hearts, leaving room for Christ.
He made us dependant on him.
29: When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
From verse 2-4 it just gives examples after exaples of how mighty our God is.
He coveres himself with light as if he was wearing a cloack. He is the almight God and we praise him.
we should realy b afraid of him becauseof his strength, but he is a merciful God and an amazing God who gave up his only son on the cross fr our sins.
pretty much alli got o-o

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
this chapter just talks about all of the wonders god has created and whatnot, and how he has always provided and has always been all powerful. It just shows the awe we should always have for him, by remembering the things he has done!

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
This chapter is basically saying that our God is almighty.... truly almighty
All species and living things on earth worship him!
If we want to further live an eternal life, we should spread his word to others so that faith can rise as well as Christ!

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
28 When you give it to them,
they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
they are satisfied with good things.
29 When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.
30 When you send your Spirit,
they are created,
and you renew the face of the earth.
So I'm assuming that this passage or if chapter is directed towards us beings that inhabit this planet.
Just kind of relates back to last sundays sermon about how circumstances are changing.
We'll feel God's absence sometimes, but he's just hiding, never leaving.
We look at God as our caregiver, we call him God for reasons such as providing
But it's only when things are bad do we forget all that he has done
We have such little faith that we'll ignore all the things he has done, because we're so clouded by anger,sadness, rejection.
I liked how verse 30 states, that when you send your spirit, they are created.
It's when God uses the holy spirit, when he used Jesus, it was only then that we were truly born i think
Obviously we were created, but when I read this passage, I automatically assume, created twice.
And that twice, being the greatest blessing
they gather it up;
when you open your hand,
they are satisfied with good things.
29 When you hide your face,
they are terrified;
when you take away their breath,
they die and return to the dust.

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
Sorry guys. I didn't get much from this chapter.
I love the verses though.....it explained really well on how forgiving, loving, great and powerful our God truly is.
The chapter was overall good but I can't find anything that really speaks to me.

Re: Psalm 104 July 24th
24 How many are your works, Lord!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.
How often are we unsure of the work God has done for us? Truthfully.
Sometimes I feel like we doubt what God has done, is for the best. But who are we to say that to the Creator?
The earth is full of YOUR creatures. God's creatures. I think we should keep that in mind next time we try to meddle with something around us.
I'm not saying never do anything because God has everything done for us. I'm just saying that before you think that things aren't supposed to be the way they are, realize that God has a plan. Always.

I didn't completely understand this one. I guess overall they're more praises to God. But I didn't get anything specific.
