July 15 Sunday Reflection
What i got from todays sermon was that we only look for God when we need him. Hes like a credit card. When we are high on faith (cash) we dont look to use it but when we are low faith.. We look to use our credit card (God)
I also got that we shouldnt live life according to "I" but to live according to others and to care for others.
cheers!

Re: July 15 Sunday Reflection
What I got from today's sermon was that in our walk with gods, wee are very selfish; thinking that this life and this relationship is all about "me" and we always complain, centering around the "me", when in actuality, the world revolves around god and we forget that it's all about god and the tiny complaints that we have really don't matter in the big picture. And the same thing joseph said about the credit card and cash thing!

Okay, usually I'd say the little that I got differently from all of you, but joseph really did get everything I was going to say so. LOL

Re: July 15 Sunday Reflection
I liked the antonym that Dan JOO used with the credit card
The credit card is just used when we absolutely need to, I mean who likes to rack up their bill at the end of the month
Just how we sometimes PRAY, REACH OUT, to god only when we feel like we need to.
That's just plain wrong but every Christian probably has struggled with that issue
God doesn't deserve a "half assed" relationship. IT should be mutual;.
