Hey guys! So the introduction of Jesus is a little different in this book than it was in John. Luke makes less of a deal on the birth of Jesus and the angel contacting Mary and Joseph, but gets straight to the point. I don't think this part was in John, but there are parts where a variety of people bless Jesus (and talk about him in important ways in which nobody else has a clue) and there's even a hint of Jesus' childhood in action. It's interesting to see little Jesus (at the age of 12) in action at the temple. It's kinda funny how his parents treat him just like any other boy (but I guess one that's a little more mature) and they still seemed like they didn't know much about His identity.

It's interesting to see how Jesus knew about his mission ever since he was born. He wasn't like a little brat when he was younger, but even in the days of his youth, he was clear of his goals and followed God's will. This just shows us, although we can't compare ourselves to Jesus, that we need not delay our worship and work for God but that it's okay to start from a young age.

Remember: ALWAYS WORSHIP!
