Christmas Service (Dec 23)

post what you learned today during the service!!!

i had lotsa fun todaaay tired, but it was a good day!!
i saw my friend from onnuri there, HAHA he scared me so bad.... jumped out of no where.... LOLOLOLOL i (L) John Whanggggg

i liked how the pastor defined what CHRISTMAS actually means!!! Christ= Jesus + mas= worship = a day to worship Christ
i found it sad how such a high percent of people knows christmas as "santas bday" like thats so bad..... haha

umm today, alot of it was in korean so yah, i didn't really get much.
but i learned that our church is really dry with praise....................
anyway, Christmas is they day when Jesus was born, and sometimes we forget the true meaning of CHRISTmas

Oh mon dieu i am SO TIRED.
But today was a lot of fun, im glad we had the chance to come together as em and km to worship together - its always nice to be able to bond with our fellow fob brothers. its a great reminder of how we can all put aside our differences and worship God - because in God's eyes he really doesnt care what language we speak or what kind of clothes we wear, but he looks at our hearts. so it was nice to see people of all ages and languages form one church
as awkward as joint services are, they're really nice every once in a while.

But anyways today's sermon was REALLY SHORT! But it was sweet and short, Pastor Mark spoke about the true meaning of christmas - I thought it was so sad when he said that most kids think that Christmas is about Santa's birthday.. Christmas eve is tomorrow, and let's keep in mind that its all about Jesus' birth, and preparing our hearts for his birth. Happy Birthday, Jesus!

My child was saying that he's gonna hurt santa when he grows up... HAHA
it is tru, people are forgeting the tru meaning of christmas... I did notice it
but never thought of it as Christ Mas... Jesus Christ Worship, It was SICK!!!!
When normally think of christmas, its about presents and meals and santa and
stuff, but those were never bad, it's just bad to forget about the tru meaning.
We always have these t.v specials saying the tru meaning of christmas is to
gather up family and having a good time, Those arent bad things but we always
forget Christ in CHRISTmas... and we shouldn't rele stress about presents to get
and stuff for our parents like i was... HAHA

Shorri guys for doing it soo late, i was worrying about my mom's Present and forgot

I never knew Mas in christmas meant Worship. But yea if you think about it, Christmas means Worshipping Christ. Even though we are supposed to be worshipping Chriist Everyday, Christmas is the day where we pay a little extra attention. An example is like the christmas service we had, we had that special service for Christmas. We were joint with the Adults and KM praise for that extra bit that goes all to Jesus.
