hey guys, sorry i am doing devotions with the teachers.. but here is mine..

what i read:1 Chronicles 17-18
what i learned: Well David has rescued the Ark of the Covenant from the Philistines and places it in a tent, where it had always been, and David sits in his mansion of a castle thinking that the house of God should not be in a tent. Rather than God using David to build a temple, He decides to use his descendants, meaning the reign of kingship would stay in the line of David, well at least for one more generation. i guess in those times anyone would take over the thrown after the king died, if you look at Saul and David it holds true. David in turn is so estatic knowing the kingship is going to stay in his line, he rejoices.
what i am goiing to do: well, i am going to remember to count my blessings, especially after coming back from madagascar
