Today's sermon, Joo talked about David (I think that was his name.. but then, I was never really good at remembering names) and his friends. And how, through everything, he served God.
He served God when it wasn't against the law, and when it was.
He risked his life time and time again to make sure he served God without even the slightest hesitation.

Perhaps that's something we should keep in mind as we go on through the week, blaming homework, studying, work or whatever other obstacles we have, as a reason for not serving God at our true potential.

I think the Pastor's sermon was about being 100% truthful and faithful to God no matter what comes your way.
Also, being able to boldly proclaim that you have one God and that is the ONLY God that you will ever serve and bow down to.

The sermon last sunday was great
David stood his ground even when it seemed as if it was in his best interests to conform
Even when things like its coming to its worst, always stay strong in our faith
When things in this world pass away, God is someone that will always remain
Nothing is forever, except for God is

I thought that sundays sermon was mainly on the topic peer pressure.
It's difficult at times when you have to do what's right versus what's easier but wrong.
In the story told during the sermon, who ever did not bow down to this king will basically face a punishment of death which in this case is being thrown into the lions den. But one person still stayed loyal to god. His faith in god is what protected him when he was with the lions.
Are you the kind of person who is faithful to god even when others are weak? Or one who gives in to what's arround you?

what Daniel did to stay committed and faithful to God is very admirable. he opened up all of his windows to Jerusalem and got on his knees to pray to God three times a day to show everyone that he will not follow the rules made by an idol but follow the decrees of the Lord. Daniel was very strong in his faith to be able to stay strong and keep confidence in God because in the end, the lions didnt eat him up as God watched over him for the entire time. God will always protect those who are willing to risk their lives for Him because he is our father and creater that loves us so.

Even though we all know that God will never leave our side, we should know that God will stay with us EVEN in the hardest times. EVEN in the best of time. and EVERY time.
Whne we are down in the dumps, dont blame others and release anger out on others.... pray and talk to God. He will free you from your misery and always be with you to fix any of your problems.
Stay strong in faith and God will never leave you.
