Psalm 93

Notification; Tomorrow's devotion might be missing from me, cuz I'm on a 14 hour flight. from when I wake up to when I fall asleep. So yeah. Sorry.

1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;
indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.

GOD created this world. Sometimes we forget that. Just makes me wonder, what was going through his mind when he created it. It's not like he NEEDED any of these things, or these ideas just came up. His brain wouldn't work so similarly to ours. All this was from pure love and thoughtfulness. When he loved us this much, and we just forget about him, and fall into sinful pleasures, like Adam and Eve, it hurts him ever so much. Sometimes, we're nice to God just for the sake of being nice back, but we never devote our time to him, to not hurt him.

So yeah. Just show back the love that we've recieved. NOt only to others but to God too.

This chapter was kinda short but it made me think about the song How Great is Our God.
I dunno why but it just got my attention.
This chapter shows how our God is almighty and how awesome he is.
He is everlasting and his strength is enough to protect all of us.
He is forever and we should know that.

This chapter was pretty short and i didnt get much..
But what didstand out to me was verse 5
Verse 5 was saying how The Testimonies are true just like the word of God.

All i got

I think this chapter just makes me feel secure when I'm in god presence. It keeps sayin how god is our foundation and how he'll never change and how hes been throug so much do where is the best place to get advice? From god!
It just makes it feel like the strong presence you need in life to not go crazy when everything else around you is changing. He's something ican cling on to that is steady and stable!

1: The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

Honestly, its such a relief, knowing that God has everything planned.
Sometimes, not often, I just wake up to the sound of His voice.
It puts me at ease and it keeps me sane from anything that could ever bother me on earth.
What He does for us, is indescribable, beyond all measures.
Beyond our own imagination.
I even feel that sometimes we can't handle God.
He would be too overwhelming for us.

"You cant handle the TRUTH."

5 Your statutes stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days, O Lord.

Adorns mean to beautify, or decorate. It talks about how holiness beautifies God's kingdom
Thinking about that, being holy, being set apart in some sort of way is truly a beautiful thing.
Heaven being set apart is great for eternity and it is entitled to us, as long as we obey God's statutes
The really big statute that I believe to be is accepting Christ as our saviour. We're entitled to it, as long as believe in that one foundation

Well, let's see...
I just read this chapter in NIV, NLT AND MSG. BUT I haven't gotten a single thing to say other than that God is the everlasting king and father of the earth!
