Psalm 76

June 14!

11 Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; let all neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.
this verse particularly stood out to me compared to the others because this one is talking about keeping your promises to God. personally, it takes me longer to forgive someone that is a "traitor" in my eyes. so to make vows and fulfilling them means a lot to me. sometimes i dont fulfill the vows i made to God which labels me in my own vision a "traitor". from this i guess im a hypocrite right? no one likes the feeling of being betrayed and certainly God doesnt like it. theres a really popular saying to "treat others the way you want to be treated". my own example relates with this because if i dont want to be betrayed then i shouldnt betray anyone and especially God. our God goes through so much pain for us and gets through them with us. by fulfilling our vows we made to Godwrwillbe rewarded either big or small. because God always loves us and makes sure we feel good about our good doings.

wow....uhmm..i really can't think of anything to say right now...
but...don't just say you're Christian. carry that burden that you signed up for.
You know, we're in the praise team, and it shouldn't be a title just for show.

So a verse that stood out to me and meant something to me was the last verse
"He shall cut off the spirit of princess:he is terribl tothe kings of the eart"
What i got from tis verse was that, God wats everyone to be equal, he made humans to be equal and he will punsh those who try and surpassthat level. A good example would be that, if someone got too much power and influenced others, the people would worship the king and the number one commandement says One God.

12 "He breaks the spirit of the rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth."
No matter how much power a person can have or has, God can top that. No one is greater than the Lord. World leaders these days are people like Politicians, but not all of them are necessarily Christians so they don't fear God because they do not know him. But if they were to face God, they would definitely be scared.

I felt that this was the same as the previous chapter so i did not get much!
studying for exams! see you soon!

I didn't get anything particularly in depth in terms of verses or anything, but I still thought the overall message of this chapter was an important one. It highlights the importance of God's glory and how we should always be fearful and revering to it. I get the feeling that this chapter was written in a happier tone, but instead a more commanding one? But anyways, that's pretty much what I got from this verse. Always fear God and the great things he does

4: You are resplendent with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game.

This was just an awesome verse to just visualize God, standing on mountains and making His creations.
I felt like I was watching an incredible film on God creating the world. With clouds opening up and his arms stretched wide, we were all made at one time, each of us serving a different purpose.
How glad should we be, as we're BORN as Christians?
I took some time to reflect upon this, and came up with that everything happens for a reason.
Isn't by accident, no way.

This chapter illustrated to me the absolute majesty of the lord and the immense power that he has. I think it instills in me that I should fear god, I know he loves me and he is merciful, but imagine what he could do if he got rreally angry at you. This god who created the universe and has all the power in the world has to deal with my everyday crap excuse the word. Sovi don't wanna be wrong in him, because he has already given me so much. By doing things that he doesn't want me to do, I feel like I'm just askin for more and being a spoiled brat. That I do not want to be. And also, I think all of us who are blessed like this are picked to do something using what god gave us in his name. It's not by mistake that god has given us such a comfortable life. I just need to figure out what that is
