My Grad is finally tomorrow!
10 "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked."
The song "Better is one day" by Matt Redman is based on Psalm 84 right?
Throughout the whole chapter David talks about all the things that is "Better".
So basically I got that anything or anybody that is Christ related and Holy is so much better than anything or anybody that isnt.

More about praising God and stuff. Same content, different ways to say it haha, David seems to be good at that, but yea, I know it's always important to praise God for what he's done for us and given us.

This chapter just reminded me of how every so often I feel the desire to be in gods kingdom suuuuuuuper badly! And I feel the urgency of doing work in his honor and whatnot! I guess that this chapter really reminds me that i can't waste time, but have to be doing something in the name of the lord, or I am wasting each opportunity that god gives me !! That's all ! Night y'all!

3 Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young
at a place near your altar,
This verse says so much!
First, a sparrow isn't the most amazing bird. It doesn't get a lot of attention. It isn't a very attractive bird. It isn't even endangered!
But here, in this verse, the sparrow represents the worst of us and how they are welcomed around God. Everyone is.
Isn't that a comforting thought? I think so.

How lucky are we that we even get the privillege to be where God is for not one day, but every day to come
That's a gift no one could ever take away from us and it's a gift that God has blessed us with
The verse says, I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of My God.
To just even be close, to be in the presence is better than any other thing imaginable in this world
And that is something, that is guaranteed for us
Always keep in mind just what God has in store for each and everyone of us

Verse 11
"For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly"
This verse stood out to me and it reminded me how great our God really is. He is the sun which keeps us alive and watches over us no matter what the circumstances are, he is a shield as well protecting us and making sure we are walking on the right path. nothing is better than God, and we should prioritize God first rather than below because He is the reason and we should live for Him

This verse just reminds me how anyone could come broken-hearted to church.
And I feel that we, as the praise team, have to really step it up to get out of our comfort zones to welcome others.
Church should be a haven, a place where one doesn't leave when small groups are over, a place to hang around, a place to chill.
And I think that geographically you don't have to exactly live close to church, I just think it means that
may one come to church as much as they possibly could.
I loved the "invisibles" sermons, it was great to hear.
