Luke 17 - Moses
Sin, Faith, Duty: This passage is basically telling us how forgiveness must be a "must". Regardless of the circumstance/situation, forgiveness is part of Jesus' character and as followers of God, we shoudl try to make it a natrual act as well. It also describes how we are all unworthy through the analogy of the servant and the master. At the end of the day, "we are all unworthy people who have done our duty."
Ten Healed of Leprosy: This passage seems to serve as a mirror reflection of today's world. Just as how only one of the ten healed people return to thank Jesus, many people of today's world unknowingly ignore and do not thank God for everything that he has done for us such as giving us a home, a church to go to, family, friends etc.
The Coming of the Kingdom of God: As we have all been taught through our weekly church lessons, when Jesus comes to save us, Earhtly matters will no longer matter. Those who try to hold on to Earthly posessions will only find disappointment and those who have faith in the Lord will find fulfillment and joy in heaven. In this way, it is through our faith in Christ that we are truly saved.
