24 "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Every morning we wake up to a new day God made for us. We might not have an excellent day, and something tragic might happen, but at least we're alive and breathing right? We should be happy that the Lord let us survive through the night, without any harm.

6 The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? 7 The Lord is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies.
With God by our side, he gives us the strength and power needed to move on everyday. He gives us courage and makes us feel victorious against our enemies when it is in just. With God, what is there to fear in the world? Praying and seeking for bravery and courage can easily allow us to be strong through the situation. Everything happens for a reason and God will always be with us to give us the strength to continue on with life.

Tomorrow's gonna be craaaay. Dat 119..

17: I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

With Dan's last sermon in mind, this verse sticks out like no other.
Not to be a legit sacrifice, but to be LIVING sacrifices, putting everything we desire aside.
Proclaiming what miracles he has done, telling everyone in sight.
Tells me clearly to be a true disciple of Christ, to spread the word of God.
And luckily, tomorrow after VBS, we're getting right on that.

OHMAN tomorrow is like a 14 hour day, then come home to read psalms 119 lovely

Good luck to everyone who are doing the vbs thing tomorow! I'm pretty sure you guys will be reading this tomorow because you guys will need some sleep in order to stay awake for 14hours......but anyways, have a great time and spread the word of God! ;D

verse 6-7:
"the Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?......I will look in triumph on my enemies."

I have read this chapter twice and I loved this verse the most. With the Lord, there is nothing to fear. He protects us from those who are against us. Do not doubt. With God, all things are possible! That's why I specifially like the part that says:
"what can man do to me?"
this reminds me of why we should stand tall and proud to know that God is righ beside us all the time and the Lord overpowers anything that gets in your way. He is on your side 100%.

A verse that really stood out to me was verse 8
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man"
What this meant to me was that we should put faith in God instead of what others say.

A reaally good example would be the story of Jonas. Jonas was afraid to go to the town God wanted him to go because that town was known for violence and was very dangerous.

Instead of doing things because of what other say, you should behave your actions according to God's will and follow him. You should not be influenced by the ones around you or by your role model. We should be influenced by God, with his amazing power of Love and grace.

CHRISTIAN MENTALITY, just wanted to say thaat before I go on to what I got.
19 Open for me the gates of the righteous;
I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord
through which the righteous may enter.
21 I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.

this was a small snipit, of the kind of attitude we should prepare for when we go for judgement. we should always keep in mind that our lives should reflect our visions, and our visions should reflect our religion, and finally our religion should be reflected upon our lives. that being said, the attitude we carry on for the duration of our lives however short or long it may be, should be how we'd want to be when we're up for judgement.

llesson is; stay consisttent within Christ. hard mission, but very rewarding.

God, vbs kills, sorry I didn't have time to do the devos till now.

The entire chapter was mostly about trusting God, and while running the sky vbs, the notion of trusting God has become very central to my life for the week. The idea itself is very simple and even reaches out to kids in preschool and whatnot, but throughout the vbs and especially this chapter, I've re-realized the importance of trusting God. The chapter pretty much covers everything sky covers, that no matter whatever, we still need to trust God, and it was interesting to see this message at such a fitting time.

13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the Lord helped me.
Hmm... this reminded me of the everything skit.
I don't know if you guys have all seen it, but the New Jersey kids did it on praise night, but if you guys haven't seen it,
definitely go check it out on youtube!

No matter how hard you think things are, and no matter how alone you feel,
it really is important that you remember that God is always helping you.
