Re: Psalm 100 July 18th
ladies and gentlemen, happy centennial
also, sorry for missing out, i was camping in prince edward island for the last week or so
but now im back!
also, heh jake
blissfully short chapter, so I didn't get much in particular but still the main message was clear. Really, all we are is God's and it may be hard to consciously know that at all times, but in doing so, we are able to thank God for caring for us that much more. the second verse, "woship the Lord with gladness/come before him with joyful song" really struck me as something I don't do nearly enough as I should. even on some off days on sundays or practice, i don't feel very into it, but thinking about worship as a privilege is a mindset I personally need to adopt more.
that'll be all

Re: Psalm 100 July 18th
well today's chapter was short and simple.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
I just found this important because it is a reminder that God will always live us and He will live through every generations now and to come. this verse is probably based on the song forever. forever God is faithful, forever God is strong, forever God is with us. sing praise to the Lord who will forever reign.
okay this week I will actually see you guys! have a great week!

2 "Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs."
I guess this could apply to us, considering we're all a part of a Praise team.
I'm sure a lot of people have brought this point up before, but we shouldn't be up on that stage just to be singing or playing your instrument. It's an honour to be leading the congregation in worship, so we should really show it.
Good night!

Re: Psalm 100 July 18th
This chapter really reminded me of the song shout to the lord!
We should know God and what his abilities are beacuse he is the one who made us whole.
We should give up ourselves to him and spread his name so that his glory may continue through future generations!
cheers!

Re: Psalm 100 July 18th
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. (Psalm 100:1 NIV)
Oftentimes we're timid when it comes to talking about our faith and our walks with Christ. Even more so when we have to talk to non-christians.
But try to be confident and "shout for joy" as often as you can! Because your faith is nothing to be unsure/embarassed about!

Psalm 100! WOOHOO
This chapter feels like an indirect message to all of us, with god welcoming us into his presence though the writer! Night!

"jake, heh" daheckwuzdatabout..
and i was worried that I wouldve missed a couple devos o-o, but i think it's a bad sign that i didn't. o-o;;
anyway.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
ok. soo instead of seeing this as a "do not idolize other objects" kinda message, i saw it more as a "have faith in me" kinda message. sometimes we can get lost in our faith and wonder why we're doing this...all i got from this very short chapter was that we should hold our faith strong with God.

Re: Psalm 100 July 18th
Psalm 100! We've reached the tripple digits!
Well, this Is bit of a short chapter....but I think it was quite straight forward.....give thanks to the lord for all the countless things he has done for us. This chapter really is nice to read. Every verse talks about how gods love is everlasting.
verse 5:
"for the lord is good and his live endures forever his faithfulness continues through all generations."
