Psalm 57 May 17th

Sorry I haven't been posting. These last few weeks, I've gotten barely any sleep and school's been pretty hectic.

Reading this chapter, I was thinking about how we rarely think about how unmatched God's love for us.
No matter what we do, we'll never be able to show that same amount of love back to God but he loves us anyway.
Don't you think that's kind of neat? I mean, most parents would feel so frustrated if their child didn't love them back, and may even try to stop loving them as well. But God is so persistent and he's always there for us, even if we don't realize it.

That's what I got!

OH BTW GUYS, I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A LASERQUEST DAY FOR US ALL. (:
Am I right or am I right? Hahaha

Thats not really important, just felt like sharing
All I really got from this chapter was that God's love is the only thing that will save/protect us from anything and everything.

2: I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me.

These past few days, I've been really trying to seek God's plan for me.
Praying and talking to God constantly, I've tried to receive his calling.
Our Father has a purpose for all of us, that's why we're here altogether on praise team.
Essentially, its not by accident that we've been called to serve Him.
We HAVE to be accepting of His orders and what He plans for us.

Living with faith, it honestly keeps me sane.
I have something to live for each and everyday.
Truthfully, I don't live for my friends or my family.
Its for God, who gives me my purpose to live.

I have a HUGE headache

7 My heart is confident in you, O God;
my heart is confident.
No wonder I can sing your praises!

Hm, we sing praises because we are confident. This is very true
Because we're so confident in our walk with God, we are able to sing praises.
Haven't you guys ever wondered WHY we sing praises during church?
To lift our god up higher, to give him the praise he deserves.
All those things are true, but also because we want to. Because we are confident in him.
Singing praises however should also be done even when we arent confident.
To gain our confidence.

"I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people; I will sing unto thee among the nations"
So Why do we praise God? Were not forced to but because we want to and we acknowledge God and know what he has done for us and how he gave us a second chance in the future. We praise God because we are absolutly thankful for his grace and his mercy and because we LOVE him. we beleive in him and we know what he has done is true. Even through He is all so might, He showed us mercy and He gave us another chance even tho we have done so many bad things and said sour things to Him.

"My enemies have set a trap for me. I am weary from distress. They have dug a deep pit in my path, but they themselves have fallen into it." I think this verse is really cool. Even when people make it hard for you as you go down your path, God is always there and protecting you. I like how that verse is told. Even though people are trying to block your path, they are just putting themselves in even greater trouble.

God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.

these two verses kinda just goes to show,
God provides what we ask.
even if it might seem liike a bit too much,
if it's sincere and we need it,
He provides. o-o


kinda scary to believe, since we're usually asking for stuff we really don't need in our lives..
we never notice the bad things that don't happen.
