i really liked todays sermon.. ahaha pastor john's so funny xD

i loved Jesus' prayer. Its a really deep one... and it taught me a lot about having a relationship with God... but it also reminded me of like the ultimate love. Jesus was so loyal. And trusted God so much. Even though he was suffering.. he looked towards the future and knew that it would all be worth it in the long run.
It had me thinking about my time at the church i went to before Milal. I said a prayer really close to his. I was all like "God why did you bring me here?" but the diference is.. i was really bitter, and didnt realise what i got out of it till after i left the church.. its def something i need to improve on.

i just discovered this song todaaaay Smile haha you guys might know it... but i dont know a lot of matt redman songs.
its called "IF I HAVE NOT LOVE" such a sweet songg ~ a love song to God.

woww!
i just posted my devo and submitted but IT JUST WENT BLANK!
So ill just tell what i mostly said before.
John made me realize how stupid that we can be.
When Jesus said father forgive them for they don't know what they are doing.
it made me think, yeah when i sin i know what im doing.
But then i thought about it more and i thought i probably don't know what im doing
i thought this because we don't know how bad sin is to God.
Sin can be whatever to us most of the time but we really dont know just how bad it is
so Jesus was completely right, we dont know what we're doing

wow very crazy sermon LOL
but a very funny one hehehe

anyways hope everyone is safe at home just chilling watching the olympics Canada vs USA
GO CANADA GO not KOREA hehehe

anyways, okay when pastor john talked about how steven was one the first person in the bible to forgive the people who hurt them i was really shocked crazyyyyy. If people were trying to kill me I wouldnt pray for them I would try to fight back or if i couldnt do anything I would pray for myself. But that made me realized how christian can be all selfish when we should be the ones setting the examples to other. I learn that we should pray for other that we hate most and forgive them for what they are doing..

pray pray prayyy
have a great week guysss

yeeeeee Pastor John. He's sermone WAS RELE DEEP!!

What rele stuck to me was he basically said "LIFE ISN'T FAIR."
God didnt say we were brought on earth to have fun... Maybe he did
b4 adam and eve ate the fruit but yeee. Most of our lives, life is not gonna
be fair... But all those good stuff that we get, like when we have a good day
and stuff. Pretty sure we dont deserve them but god atleast tries to put some
fairness in our lives... He said something about injustice and stuff. Dunt kno exact
word for word but it was rele interesting...

Plus, Praying to god so that he may forgive others... I kno i did it b4 but like
when I heard it, It was rele Shocking... I kno i've done it b4 but I know i can
never pray enuf to forgive others... I should do that more often... I should pray
for u guys today...

Kevin: Forgive him for not following the Pyramid... He told me to shaddup today and gave
me a dirty look.
Isaac: Forgive him for MAKING the pyramind... Common Isaac, We're not egyptians... HAHA
Jaocb: For being too hot... No homo
Cathy: ummmmmmm, ye for everything I guess. Or being too gangster, Random...
Allan: For being such a Ah Jeo shi and hitting me for everything I do...
Well the last thing is reasonable but hitting me wont rele solve it... HAHA
and oh ye, being an Ah jeo shi isnt bad so iunno wat i should pray for Allan...
Steven: ummmm, For giving me a small 8--

HAHAHA jks guys jks, Dunt sack me... LOL
ye but I will pray for you guys tho...

Haha i thought today's sermon was interesting!
Learned some new things.
It's true, we need to understand everything God has planned out for us.
Although we may nto know what is it or will ever know, we have to commit our lives to him.
Cause in the end it IS for his glory.

I really liekd the one thing John talked about...Prayer.
Prayer is the intimate tool of your relationship with God and i 100% agree.
I think we as a team should not just "pray" more. but talk with God and listen to him more often!

I CANT BELIEVE WE LOST.
Ryan Miller is SICKKK

hahha so due to high levels of procrastination and the hockey game tonight, i have yet to start studying for my politics test. lovely Smile

I loved John's sermon today. He is SO FUNNY. Especially all the African chilren jokes.. haha they hit home hard, and the message got through for me. Becuase you know how I'm always saying "guys im gonna save the world. and save the african children". Today when John made direct reference to that I was like.. ohmygosh he's talking to me. hahah
John pointed out how silly it is to have all these big dreams about saving the african children when we have no personal connectionwith them, and when we don't even try to help and love the people that are closest to us. I remember isaac said once in one of our devos, 'why should God trust us with a huge plan if we can't even do the little things?'. In the same way, I need to start learning how to love and care for people around me, right here, right now, before I can ever even think about going away to Africa and saving the African children. haha really helped put everything in perspective Smile
have a great monday everyone!

Cathy, dont act like you know what youre talking about.
hockey isnt for girls

anyway, SICK nap oh my...

now i cant sleep til later...

I liked the sermon because it talked about the THREE prayers before Jesus died. John's way of preaching is also very interesting. Hes not only funny, but he gives a view point from the opposite angle.

What stuck out to me the most was when he said "forgive them for they do not know, and into your hands, i commit my spirit".
I think thats a sick prayer because it embodies a lot of things in one.

have a good week guys!!!!!!
