Yo guy... Need to study my butt off to
get atleast higher than 58% in my EXAM!!
LOL

it was sick today. Sam's sermon never bores me... Not to be mean to sammy but
SOMETIMES!! REPEAT SOMETIMES!!! he's KINDA boring... LOL but has good points tho.
what i realize was when sam said we sin without even knowing. I think it's because we commited
sin SOOO MANY TIMES that we cant even notice it... I remember he said that many times
b4 and when i first heard it. I remember i was being REAL cautious... I was sitting in the
front seat in my mom's car after i said it and i was asking my self, Is sitting in this car a
sin?? LOL haha but no, that's too much... I'm pretty sure we all have our own habitual sins
and commit sins without even noticing. But i kno for sure, if we thinki about what we did,
he would realize what we did... Also it was interesting cuz when we commit our habitual sins,
sometimes, we dont even feel guilty... That's jst sad...

SO MANY DEFINITIONS, NAMES, CASES, CONSTITUION CHARTER AND CRIMINAL CODE SECTIONS!
but i will TRUCK it through, and KILL this exam. 0by the time im done with it, it will be bleeding because of how thoroughly i DESTROYED it.
(that was a case of first degree murder: planning and deliberation. ) hahaha im so witty.

so today Sam talked about pretty much exactly what i wrote in last week's sunday reflection. funny how that worked out
It was really nice to have that time of prayer
"One hand brings you praise, and the other brings me shame"
Today was a great reminder of how contraidctory and hypocrtical we can be. We call ourselves Christians, we praise every Sunday, but then we're still bound by those habitual sins that hinder our relationship with God. So it's time that we break the chains of sin and find freedom in God. And we can do that most effectively by REPLACING those sins with holy, fruitful thoughts.

I HATE MATH. ojskdjaskdjaskldjalskjdlksajd .
and civics.... wow... civics...... when im old enough to vote, none of these people will be in power anymore.....aigoo too much definitions and points to memorize -.-
i have to go to the library tomorrow again... my math exams on tuesday Sad

i really liked todays sermon,it really made me think... like there had to be a reason why we sin over and over again. if it didnt attract us... why would we sin? But we need to remember and think "will this make God happy?" Theres always going to be temptation. No matter what you do, there can be like the slightest percentage of temptation.. but we need to win against it. I think that you know that you have salvation when you think of God in those situations becuase the holy spirit is living in us. It reminds us that its wrong and it makes you question "should i do it" and it we do... we feel this really big guilt. and whether we know it or not... its usually guilt against God. When we're conscience of His presence,, we start to go "what did i do". Sin doesnt just go away... just because you repent doesnt mean you wont be tempted to do it again, but we need to make that effort just like Sam said. We need to try to break that habitual sin.

just like cathy i esp liked that song "one hand brings you praise, and the other brings me shame"
a lot of people say "i hate people who are two faced.." hahaha uhmmmm... yes.... imagine how God feels. When we're at church we're more conscience about what we do, and how we feel because we're afraid to be judged.. so you sing praise, you pray to God.. and then right when school starts you go off like none of it matters, and you dont even think about Him out of that one hour of service.. but I think thats why this devo forum is awesome. Even if at first it seems forced and just like another thing to do.. it will eventually stretch to soemthing you want to do, make you think about God more.. and just give Him more of your time in a day. I know we're busy with exams and everyones studying for hours... but lets keep up the devos kaaay!? Smile

so what i learned was that sins start out small, and turn out big. Remember what sam said about regular porn to child porn? Technically child porn is worse than regular porn but if we were to view it God's way, they are both equally bad. But keep in reminder that we think child porn is worse. Another example would be from beating someone up, to killing smoeone. Once again, beating someone up is MUCH better than killing someone but not in God's eyes. But still, we need to stop our sins before they turn into something bigger. Or else, next thing you know, Jacob will own a gay black porn company.

just kiddingg ^_^

ahah EVERYONE HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK!
