Psalm 89

Surprised nobody made the thread yet. My head's churning so I'll try to shorten it for my own good o-o.
1 I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
through all generations.

I realize that alot of the times, we see this relationship very primitively; we worship God, God provides for us. But we view it as a relationship where it's only us that give faith, loyalty, and dedication. A lot of the times, that is the reason why we stop worshipping God. We begin to lose faith in God because we don't see HIS faith in US.

Our praise shouldn't be something that only shows our faithfulness to Him, but acknowledges of HIS faith in US.

the part that stood out to me in this chapter was when it kept repeating that god will keep his covenant no matter what.
This makes me feel as though god is really steady and he will always be there to give me strength when i need and will always forgive when i ask! <3
but thats about it for what i got outta todays chapter
it was a good read tho night all!

What i understood from this verse is that God issuch a GREAT God.
Verse 6
"For who in the heaven can b compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?"
This shows that God cannotbe compared. He is in a totally different league than us. NOTHING in the world can even be equal to him and we should praise him with everything we have.
Another verse that shows an example of how great our God is verse 9
"Thou rulest the raging of the sea when the waves thereof arise thou stillest them."
God created everything on earth so he has control over the. God can control the weather and can decide whatever he wants. But he gave humans a choice to make their own descisins which we shouldbe greatful for.

not much but a really strong message.
God is always there and we should rejoice his name forever and ever!

Sorry I didnt post yesterday!
So from verse 1-37 I guess it talks about how God will give us all we want and continue to bless us with plenty as long as we keep being faithul to the Lord.
But from verse 38 to the end of the chapter, i think it talks about how God can also punish and reject us if we become unfaithful and sin against Christ.

Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens. (Psalm 89:2 NLT)

You know, if his faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens, I believe that means that it never falters and it's always going to be there. 
It's kind of sad that we always take that for granted. 
I'm not saying it's easy to fix, but when we know we can give back just a bit more by doing things like helping others and doing our devos, and we don't, it's disrespectful to God, who has done so much for us.

sorry i didn't do this yesterday, got home late and had to practice and stuff

Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?

this verse stuck out a lot for me. it really rings true. There is no one on earth or otherwise, who is or can be as great as our God. It makes me feel blessed to be given such an amazing God, one that will care for use and provide for us and most of all, love us unconditionally. all in all, didnt really get anything personal from the chapter, but it feels good knowing we have a God like ours

Nothing really spoke out to me here....bit confusing to me.........

11: The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.

This verse really hit me.
It feels as if we don't exactly have much control of our own lives, as it is GOD's world.
Not ours at all.
Although it makes me feel uncomfortable, since it is His world,
would He not protect us?
would He not guide us?
He'll lead us into salvation and use us for His own glory.
