Yesterday, I was at the Eaton Centre for 14 hours. Walking ALMOST nonstop.
....I don't even know.

Okay then.... this chapter has, I think, sufficiently scared me.
I'm a bit confused as to what all this means. What I got was that God let us live without him... - in other words, gave up on us.
I'm sure that's not exactly what it means but that's what I've got.
...
Yeah, I'm definitely a little shaken by this chapter.
WELL THEN. I'm going to go take my mind off the fact that we are, apparently, completely screwed.

holy~. just got back and soo tired....
before i start off i just want to say that my grandfather recently got cancer.
i just found out. so devastated.
the doctors are saying that its still green but im finding it hard to believe.
on that note, today, verse 9 stood out for me.
Especially this part "Let the dying die, and the perishing perish. Let those who are left eat one another’s flesh."
with this verse i get the meaning "let god's wishes be done through us. but sometimes, let god's wishes be done alone."
so im praying that whatever happens with my grandpa,
he goes on peacefully, dead or alive.

Kevin, Sorry to hear about your dog man. When I had to give away my Dog, it felt like I lost a limb, Couldn't even imagine what you'll be going through.


Anyways, This chapter was kinda hard to understand. A Shepherd who sells their flock and say, "I'm rich" kinda deal. That verse seemed very powerful to me but I didn't really understand. I read it actually a couple of times but I still don't understand.

Common guys, Lets keep up with the devos and it'll be nice to read your devos cuz I can't get anything myself

okat im quite confused about the times for the devos...happy birthday audrey! and sorry to hear about your dog kevin...
truthfully i had a hard time understanding the chapter...it was really serious and actually kind of scary...it seemed lik it was trying to tell us how we live without God. almost like his gave up on us...it was really meaningful and kind of serious to me personally.
well thats it for now...sorry i had to really think about this chapter.

So this chapter was pretty intense. A lot going on.... like Christine said it was actually kinda scary!
Verse 9 was the creepiest for me. Especially when it says, "Let those who are left eat one another's flesh"
Woah.... Canniball much?? Yikes now im kinda freaked out.
So the way i thought of this verse was that without the Lord, there would be a lot of havok and danger in the world. Maybe even what was said in the chapter..... Ok no maybe not literally eating another person's flesh (ew.) but a lot of bad stuff. I also thiink that the eating flesh part was a symbol as to what horrible things could happen without God.
