Here's what I remember from Pastor Mark's sermon.....
He told the story about his wedding and about it being in seoul and so people came over from busan but came quite early so they ate everything and left. I didn't get the message from that example.
But I did get the story about how Jesus turned water into wine. The servants trusted and believed in him and so did Mary. It made me think when pastor Mark mentions that this was the very first of Jesus' miracles and they didn't know what he could do yet she and his servants still believed. The servants didn't have to listen to him but they did. Mary did not see any miracles from him but she believed too.

So this is what I heard and learned from this todays service.

Mary's faith was incredible! I can see why catholic's look up to her so highly Smile

With all jokes aside, Mary had knew that Jesus was the Messiah. She was told this 50 years ago. 50 years told and still believing, 100%. To be honest, I'd be so completely surprised that God would make this come true. But after this sermon, I'd had knew that God's promises are something that you can rely on. Like Pastor Mark said. It could come tomorrow, next week, or the day that you perish. I'll always be waiting for God to embrace my life, any time he wishes to.

uhhhh i only remember him talking about his wedding and how everyone just ate and left and he related this to the water into wine. the relevance? i think is that in both scenarios they both ran out of food. didnt get much out of it...
