20 I have no one else like Timothy, who genuinely cares about your welfare.

One of the most important keys to receiving God's favor on your work is this: you must care about the people you work with. Even when they are irritable, even when they don't like you, even when they make fun of you, even when they put you down for being a Christian, you must still be a friend to them.

Why is this so important for success? Because the number one lesson in life, the number one reason God put you on this earth, is to learn how to love. God is love and he wants you to be like him.

It's easy to love people you like, the people you find easy to get along with. So if God's going to teach you real love, realize that he's going to put you around unlovely people.

"Everything you do must be done with love" - This means at the office, in the car, on a sales trip, whatever. The good news is this really is not hard. It's easy to underestimate the power of a kind word, a friendly smile, a pat on the back, a genuine compliment, a word of encouragement, and a listening ear.

I have seen so many lives changed when somebody takes time to pay attention to them. There is not a person on this planet who isn't starving for attention. But a caring person is hard to find.

The Apostle Paul said this, "I have no one else like Timothy, who genuinely cares about your welfare." (Philippians 2:20 NLT) Does that sound like your workplace? Everyone looking out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ? Those who really care are really aware.

Really, todays verse reflects alot with the parable of unconditional love. The one with lending your other cheek when one cheek is slapped, and walking 2 miles with the commander on your back when he/she commands you to walk 1 mile.

No matter what the circumstances may be, we have to display love and affection for one another as we would love our own blood, because we have to display our brotherhood in Christ. It's ultimately a family, and no matter what the conditions are, we have to act like a family. So really, we have to be loving to everybody even when we are the ones being wronged, because that's the only way of really giving ourselves as a good living sacrifice to God; acting the way he wants us to during our time.

Isn't it astonishing? God didn't put us here for our earthly pleasures, desires, goals.
He brought us here because he is love, and he wants us to express that love unto others.
That is our sole purpose in life. Of course that's a very generic theme. With love comes worship, good deeds, etc.
Loving someone is so hard simply because there are so many more reasons NOT to love someone, especially those who wrong you
We must live our lives in the way that God expects and desires us to.

One of our responsibilities as a christian is to share our love to one another here on earth.
in order to become stronger, you must face the challenges. You will eventually encounter some people that you might find more difficult to love. But it's actually not that hard, sometimes the small things help.
Small, nice things each day can change a whole lot in the people arround you.
That is why you should have self contoll so that you can controll your anger. everything that you do adds up......
This really does apply to me since im still meeting different people in a totally new school.....
