Steak Sauce

haha i took notes on Esthers BB but what i remember ill say.
A propehcy is something that is bound to happen and is known to take place....
i dont really get what moses was trying to tell us but he told us about differnet stuff...
like Psalm and John have relations and how the bible is like a mystery book.
Clues are given and you know waht is gonna happen if you read carefully.
I think the message was just to enjoy reading scripture and try to udnerstand it more..

I didn't really get much from today's sermon
I learned that there were verses in psalm to back up verses in John but not much to reflect on

Okay, so today, I remember a looooot about prophecies and prophets.
I learned that prophecies are only prophecies when they're known, for sure, by the prophet, but that they can't give it all away.
And so, the scriptures are similar to a mystery novel.

I learned that King David wrote most of Psalms, and because it was written before Christ, he was a prophesying.

Also, about the whole breaking their legs so they would die faster,
I feel like that can also be a metaphor for how God should be to us. God is our 'legs' and he keeps us up even when though we don't notice it.

i think in today's sermon, moses was trying to show us how precious the bible actually is and that it shouldnt be taken for granted! in a nutshell haha
he showed us exxamples of that by showing us connections in the bible from earlier books to the newer ones and how prophcies came truee and stuff like that
yaaahhhh todays sermon was about the importance of the bible

hahahaha sorry guys, i was in niagara last night with the fam, to celebrate fathers day
but guys, in all honesty... i didnt get anything except that everything that happened to Jesus had already been prophesied in the old testiment, many years before Jesus even came to save the world.

I found it difficult to reflect a whole lot on the sermon, other than the idea of prophesying.
To prophesy is to say what will happen, that you already know - and in the Psalms, it was really shown.
Unfortunately, I can't come up with something else to share. :S
