Mark 6:30-31
30 The apostles returned to Jesus from their ministry tour and told him all they had done and taught.
31 Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat.

John 8:12
12 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

John 5:30
30 I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.

John 8:14
14 Jesus told them, “These claims are valid even though I make them about myself. For I know where I came from and where I am going, but you don’t know this about me.

Luke 4:42-44
42 Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place. The crowds searched everywhere for him, and when they finally found him, they begged him not to leave them.
43 But he replied, “I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent.”
44 So he continued to travel around, preaching in synagogues throughout Judea.

Mark 3:14
14 Then he appointed twelve of them and called them his apostles. They were to accompany him, and he would send them out to preach,

Mark 1:35
35 Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.

Jesus experienced enormous stress and pressure, yet it didn't seem to disturb his peace of mind. In spite of opposition, constant demands, and little privacy, his life reflected a calm sense of balance.

What can we learn from Him?

Know who you are (John 8:12) -- Eighteen times Jesus publicly defined himself. There was no doubt in his mind as to who he was. Trying to be someone you're not causes stress!

Know who you want to please (John 5:30) -- Jesus never let the fear of rejection manipulate him. No one can pressure you without your permission. You can't please everyone. Even God can't!

Set clear goals (John 8:14) -- Jesus said, "I know where I came from and where I am going." Preparation prevents pressure but procrastination produces it. You work by either priorities or pressures.

Focus on one thing at a time (Luke 4:42-44) -- Jesus knew how to handle interruptions without being distracted from his primary goal.

Don't try to do everything yourself (Mark 3:14) -- Jesus enlisted twelve disciples. We get tense when we feel it all depends on us.

Make a habit of prayer (Mark 1:35) -- No matter how busy Jesus got, he found time to get alone and pray. A daily quiet time is a great stress decompression chamber.

Take time to enjoy life (Mark 6:30-31) -- Balance is the key to stress management. Work must be balanced with fun and worship.

Pressure vs. priority, that's one big challenge in life.
There must be some sort of balance. You should not lay back to the point where your priorities are forgotten or delayed. You also shouldn't isolate yourself from others because of your commitments either.
It's always difficult to live that has both balanced out. This world contains many distractions and it is up to us if we're going to give in. A good scenario is on a Friday school night. You can either enjoy the beginning of the weekend and maybe watch a movie and have some priorities pushed a little back or start with priorities first then have the rest of the weekend for other things.
Just remember that you have things to do and eventhough there are distractions in this world, we can stay strong and realize what must be done. It's for the better.
