heyy everyone! hope your week went by good... and feel better to all the sick people haha

18 But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root.

haha this verse kinda madde me think about where my place is. To all of us, we're all branch and God is our root and foundation. But how often do we think of God as our root and fully rely on him for support? I guess when it comes to decision making, i mostly rely on what I think is right. From this verse, i learned that without God i can do alot less things. What can a branch be without the root? What can we be without God? See the connection huh? Without God, we're so much less capable of doing things than we'll ever know. I guess we'll never know how hard life is without God unless he's ACTUALLY not part of our lives. BUT since he is, rely on him!

haha byee everoyne,
hope sunday will be sickk

"You are just a branch, not the root."
i like this line because its all about humility
just like what jacob talked about yesterday.

"33 Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!"
so true... im not a strong believer in "just believe it..." but sometimes you need to know that our minds are nothing to that of Gods. And to comprehend what he has done, at times, is useless... for we are not God.

ciao tomorrow!

And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace

It is by grace we have been saved. Grace is a gift from God, not somethign we can earn, not something we can gain or achieve, but somethign thatis given to us. It always has been a gift the moment Jesus came down. It's our job as the praise leaders to help those accept it.

I also really like the branches thing, says alot about roles. Even if we weren't praise team members, btu a community of a church it would be the same. Just like when Tom left or when Angela left, we're still losing an brotherhood of Christians.

Be excited for praise tomorrow!
Hannah's text was nice Smile

Sorry for being late guys, had buttload of crap to do.

I like what Issac wrote. I don't like the just believe it too, but I think it is sometimes dangerous to forcefully try to make sense of what God is thinking. We can't comprehend what God is thinking. Sometimes it is just foolish to try.

Don't be consumed by the relationship you have with God. Yah I know, but hear me out. What good is believing in God, if you don't do anything about it. What kind of relationship is that. Yeah I've received salvation...k good.

Don't think highly of yourself , but fear what could happen.

k c ya all

Sorry guys, i was in my friend's b day
party yesterday and i was dead tired after
church today so i'm doing mine now...

16If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

This verse rele caught my heart. It's a poetic device and if you think about it and
nuonce on it, u can get a Rele valuable life lesson here... If the dough that was used
to make a basket is holy, the basket is holy and if the roots of a plant is holy, the whole
plant it self is holy... It's soo tru because if a trees didnt have a healthy and strong roots,
the whole tree might die very fast... We need have a VERY strong root. We need a heart that
is Very healthy and strong towards god because without a strong heart that's willing to live
for god, everything else that we have can break off easily...

35"Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?"

This also caught my eye because this shows the kindness of god....
We have hurt god in soo many ways and soo many times... there is
NOBODY in the world that gave god something he should pay back for...
Actually, We have to owe him back for everything we have done and
it's impossible to pay our depts but he's kindness overflows and he still
gives us anything we want even tho we owe him SOOO much!!
