What i got from todays sermon was when sam talked about the importance of trust with God and then trust between our neighbors.

hmmmm what i got from todays sermon... I liked where he talked about being yourself to others to show God to others. I always try to do that, fail as i might... i want to share an excerpt from "Words to live by" by CS Lewis that i read on the way from the station. i really loved the message in todays sermon i liked how Sammy was talking about how Jesus is the human form of God, so if we want to know more about God, and how He is, then to study the life of Jesus . and also, when he talked about Paul, i think that was another fav. he talked about transformation . K so what I got from Sam W's sermon today was that God is with us every step of the way. I really like the term where he said God is like a lamp. He guides us enough so we can go a step. He doesn't shine his light 30km like Sam said, he doesn't want to plan ahead like that. He wants to be with us every step of the way. So that part gave me a better understandign of how God works. HAHAHHA okay so i loveddddd todays sermon and i really like how Sam talked about the book of revelations because, barley any pastors actually preach on that ... so i like how sam pointed out that verse and said "you're just like anyone else if you dont love God." which is true even satan believes that there is a God, that there is Jesus that He came down and died for us etc etc and we may belive in God, we may do good ...

what i got most from todays sermon from Gil was when he said that being christian isnt going to be easy, but it isnt going to be boring. We often hear the "isnt easy" part from sam but i never heard the "it isnt going to be boring part". but its sooo true isnt it?

hi guys so in sam's sermon today, it really got me thinking . i liked it when he asked "how much is Jesus worth to you?" like we always know that Jesus is a part of our lives, but then ... how many times do we sit down and think to ourselves how important Jesus is. i did my devos but didnt post it because i was at Suji's house for some prayer and praise! I learned a lot from last night, and we ended up sleeping over aha... so i just got home now.

Ughhh so todays sermon was good even though we missed a chunk of it.

What I got was from today was when Sam said Everything is permissable, but not beneficial. That's true because we can do almost anything we want to, but will everything be good? not really. So it's important that we make the right choices and that the majoryity of the things that we do should be beneficial.
